Our Natural furniture is finished with a clear lacquer directly on the wood. The wood is not stained or colored by us in any way. The natural variations in color and grain are very apparent and we feel very beautiful. If this much variation is not for you, please contact us to discuss having a piece custom made in a stained finish.

Natural Cherry starts of as a pale salmon color and turns darker and redder over time. The heartwood of Cherry has a naturally accruing photo chemically sensitive substance that makes it turn red. The sap wood areas, the light areas on the edges of many boards, do not turn red. The difference between the sapwood and the heartwood gets greater over time. The color of individual boards will differ and the difference becomes greater over time. Natural Oak starts off as a blond color and becomes only very slightly darker over time. It can have some dark brown streaks in it at times.
